Samaritan Ministries Food Pantry Hours
(ring bell at so. west ramped door)
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday | 9:00 a.m. to noon
The Samaritan Ministries' Food Pantry provides groceries to families and individuals on an as-needed basis. The Pantry is stocked with donations of non-perishable food donations made by neighboring churches, members, and friends. These donations are supplemented by purchased items, using funds from the Board of Deacons, the Mission Ministry-Committee, and individual donations.
How can I help? We always need the following items: canned pasta (with or without meat), chili, beef stew, chunky soup, tuna, peanut butter, canned meats, canned vegetables, canned fruits, Velveeta (processed cheese) and crackers, packaged rice and pasta.
The volunteers of the Food Pantry appreciate the loaves of bread that church members have been donating. They are greatly appreciated by individuals who come to the Pantry. On Sunday mornings, bread can be placed in a basket in the Narthex (church entry) or the Commons. Thank you!
See the Samaritan Ministries page for an activity report: many thanks for helping those in need.
